About Me

Hi, I am Rob Sebastian and I've seen the future. It’s messy, exhilarating, full of potential and fraught with ethical dilemmas. I’m a polymath, that is part techie, part creative, part deal-maker navigating the ever-shifting collision of technology, creativity, and capital. But always with one priority: responsible technology innovation, especially in the AI age.

I’ve been working with AI long before it became a buzzword. I love building companies, platforms, and sometimes just wild ideas that probably should have died. I thrive where technology, creativity, policy, and finance intersect.

From pioneering predictive AI in public policy to shaping the explosion of interactive entertainment such as video games, mobile media, even the AI platform behind the global entertainment phenomenon Now United and witnessed technology’s transformative power firsthand.

My career? Unapologetically unintentional. I’ve led corporate initiatives (Time Warner, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment) and co-founded startups (some wins, some hard lessons). I’ve deployed over $200M in venture investments (VC & CVC), advised on M&A, and served on numerous boards, from Hickory Farms to Behaviour Interactive. I’ve also helped manage private equity portfolio of 300+ companies in Energy, Technology, Video gaming, Healthcare and Consumer Products.

Now? I’m focused on AI’s potential—thoughtfully and critically. I’m fascinated by its creative possibilities but deeply aware of the ethical tightrope we walk. AI is advancing at breakneck speed, and if we’re not ready, we’re screwed.
